About Dan DeVries
Dan DeVries is a South King County commercial photographer that specializes in website photography, magazine photography and photographs for corporate reports. His work ranges from taking industrial photographs for laser and electronics manufacturers, to non-profit fundraising photographs for charity events.
Product Photography and Portaits
Dan's product photography has appeared in corporate magazine articles and on the cover of trade journals. His corporate portraits have been used by companies in their “about us” portion of their website to highlight the value their corporations deliver. This includes both individual portraits and team photos. Dan’s 20 plus years of corporate marketing experience helps him work with companies to best leverage these corporate photographs.
Commercial and Event Photography
Dan’s event photography ranges from Seattle Polo matches, to Kent Washington Chamber of Commerce and Seattle’s Manufacturing Industrial Council (MIC) events. He has taken non-profit photos for the Rainier Foothills Wellness Foundation in Enumclaw WA, SKCAC in Kent WA, and Habitat for Humanity in both Seattle and Pierce County WA. Dan also takes holiday photos for mothers and their families as part of the Step by Step program.
Dan DeVries Photography is currently engaged in a yearlong project taking photographs to promote tourism in Enumclaw Washington. These photographs will be used by the Enumclaw Chamber of Commerce, the Mount Rainer tourism center, and local Enumclaw businesses. The project includes the 4th of July parade and King County Fair photographs. These photos will also highlight local restaurants, places to visit, historical homes, farming life and fun places to explore.
The majority of Dan’s work is done at a client’s company site or at an event site. He uses professional Canon cameras, lenses and flashes. He also uses Paul C. Buff strobes with battery packs allowing him to use them in a studio, factory environment or outdoors.
